It’s always such a joy to get a referral from a past bride! Diana saw us photograph her cousin Jennifer’s wedding first hand so it was an extra honour to know she was comfortable with the way we worked when it was her turn to commission us. Diana set out to the land Down Unda to work and ended up meeting a dashing boy named Nathan. Fast forward a couple of years, the two decided to get hitched in good ol’ Toronto.
The morning was calm and relaxed with a hint of excitement coming from Diana! You could tell that she was a bit anxious to see Nathan for The Reveal.
One of the benefits of having a Reveal / First Look is to be able to buffer a lot of these emotions before having to stand in front of tens, or even hundreds of people you know. Generally that kind of added pressure can be stressful and lead to unnecessary anxiety for a bride and groom. We’re so happy that Diana and Nathan opted to see each other prior to their ceremony!
As usual, we had the wedding party hang around to be a part of the group creative portraits. Here is where we make sure to get a variety of group shots, along with smaller, micro, groupings. We’re all about variety and options! After we wrapped those up, we took Diana and Nathan downtown to explore some of the nooks and crannies of Toronto.
The late-afternoon ceremony kicked off the second half of the day into a wonderful evening of celebrations including … family portraits galore! We think this wedding takes the cake for the most amount of groupings we’ve ever shot. This is such a testament to how much Diana and Nathan love and respect their family and friends.
Wishing this happy couple a wonderful life ahead!
